Mocha Mousse Inspired Wedding at Denizen MKE

When Pantone announced Mocha Mousse as the 2025 Color of the Year, we knew we had to design something special. This soft, grounded shade—a warm, earthy neutral with subtle rosy undertones—immediately sparked our imagination. It’s timeless, rich, and quietly elegant. The perfect foundation for a refined, modern wedding aesthetic.

As Milwaukee wedding planners and designers, we’re always drawn to creative opportunities that blend elevated style with intentional detail. This styled shoot, set at Denizen MKE in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, gave us exactly that. Denizen’s clean architecture and bright, minimalist interiors provided the perfect setting to showcase a design-forward approach rooted in warmth and texture.

We centered the entire look around Mocha Mousse, not just as a color but as a tone for the day—grounded, soft, and full of depth. Rich velvet napkins, espresso-toned tablecloths, sculptural taper candles, and hand-picked blooms all carried variations of the hue. The palette came together with creamy whites and subtle blushes to create something cohesive and elevated—never trendy or overdone.

The floral design played with movement and structure, combining blooming Zambesi lilies, ranunculus, calla lilies, carnations, and anthuriums. Our couple, Claire and her partner, brought the editorial energy to life through fashion that felt both expressive and refined. Her partner wore a minimalist jumpsuit styled with a modern blazer—an effortlessly cool look that added warmth and personality to the shoot.
